So what's everyone's favorite makeup looks in photoshoots (glamour, maude, crazy, natural, etc)? Like when you thumb through magazines, what makeup looks make you do a double take?

I don't know if I have a favorite because it changes often but in general I have always loved shoots that showcase bold lip colors. If it's on the right model, having a sexy, shiny, colorful pout really brings out a lot of attitude and sass in a picture to me. Sometimes the fake lashes are overdone in most pictures so I think I prefer them to be more natural looking or at least enhanced but not too dramatic. I was looking at the maude makeup from back in the day and that look is starting to grow on me, in terms of seeing it on models in pictures.

    How 'bout you?

    Hi Dania

I am a real make up fan so I always love dramatic looks that are well blended.  Dramatic looks are though, lets face it, great for the magazines, not so great for real life.  Theres a lot to be said for the perfect nude, well blended, invisible look too, which I think is harder to master.

Ah, good point about the nude look. You know, I am definitely starting to notice that look more and more in magazines and such. I really like it, especially since it allows for the eyes to pop, depending on what the theme is. A while back I had a makeup artist do a nude lip on me for the first time and I really liked it. I do agree that the nude look is harder to pull off so it's always important to have someone that knows what they are doing.
