Has anyone done this? What was the shoot for, what animal and what was your experience like? Lately, I've been seeing a lot of editorial images that involve models and animals, namely horses. I think posing with animals is such a cool concept. I would love to do such a shoot one day. I just wanted to know what other people have experienced when it came to posing with animals.

I know I'd have a blast modeling with a horse, dog, or cat. Not sure about snakes but the idea is pretty cool so I think I eventually would want to pose with a snake.

    Hey Dania!

Posing with snakes sure is popular though!  I would hate it but you have to be professional in these cases - I've seen a model with a tarantula!!!!

I think people naturally good with animals shine. I have always had a fear of dogs for example and you can see the fear in my eyes!

Haha, yeah, I feel the same way about dogs. I mean, I like dogs and my family has them but it's other dogs that know I'm a stranger that I worry about. They can smell fear LOL. I feel like if I approach the dog friendly they can still freak out but if I act scared of it, then it could still freak out. I just can't win! But it wouldn't stop me from attempting to pose with one though...they are awfully cute.

And I am absolutely terrified of spiders so I couldn't fathom how I would react to posing with a tarantula. I really can't say...I would have to be in that situation but I'm definitely not wishing to find out!

Ha - on BNTM it was quite funny because last time the girls had to work with animals.  One girl had to have a spider on her shoulder ! A huge massive one but she took it quite well!

Ugh, just thinking of a spider anywhere on my body makes my stomach hurt haha! Maybe I should do a shoot like that just to confront my fear and be able to say that I did it. Hmmm...that's food for thought. If other models can do it I don't see why I can't! I'll have to look up that episode online if I can find it and see how it turned out. Sounds interesting!

    Hey Dania

The new BNTM series started last week.  I watched it! it was rubbish.  The standard is MUCH lower than on ANTM and it felt like they were deliberately trying to make it controversial.  The usual, now you have to take your clothes off thing, and they also made the girls make out with each other for the shoot! I'm not homophobic, but if that was asked of me, yes, I would be a uncomfortable with it but they really made the girls that didn't want to do it feel small for not wanting to.  I don't know - ANTM has at least never been that crass!

Oh, wow, I don't think I've seen the girl on girl thing on ANTM before. It seems like they are torturing the girls. Not to mention that the majority of the girls on the show probably have little to no modeling experience so it's probably even more of a shock to them to have to deal with that. Ugh. People are starting to get tired of ANTM here I believe. I mean, it still has a good number of viewers, but I think people are getting bored and it's quickly becoming a cliche type of reality show where they have the stereotypical "characters" in each girl like the shy one, the diva, the cry baby, etc. And I don't know, but this latest season of ANTM has the most unattractive girls I have ever seen. I'm not sure how they pick these girls at all. Oh, well, that's the problem with most reality shows, they realize that they have to do whatever it takes to get ratings and continue to draw viewers. I wish the best for the girls on BNTM and hope that things don't get any worse!

Thats very true - always picking out gals that are characters. I find a lot of reality shows dont like say the quieter girls who may actually be very good - apparently being quiet means you don't have a personality! Which isn't true at all.  I could never go on a show like that for anything, I'm not a natural born show off!
