I have been in so much pain for the past few days! I went to the beach and used sunscreen on my whole body but didn't put anything on my lips except for petroleum jelly. I used to use a lip balm that had spf but my lips started to react badly to it so lately I haven't been able to wear anything except for petroleum jelly. And now my lips are sunburned and a bit inflamed. It hurts so badly. I can't wait for it to go away. Ugh. I have eczema as well, which is undoubtedly making my sunburn worse. Any home remedies for sunburn on the lip area? Have any of you had sunburn on this area before and shared my pain? lol.

    Oh no! That's terrible.

We tend to forget to put SPF on our lips and hair (I always do) but its important to!  Try putting some cooling things on to your lip?  I've only ever been sunburned once (on my back) and it was so utterly painful I have never done it since.

    Hey, Rowena!

My sunburn on my lips finally went away after three painful days. The funny thing is now my lips are smoother than ever! It was like a painful lip exfoliation haha. But I've definitely learned my lesson and will carry around a good lip balm that has plenty of SPF in it!
