What are the hot trends for summer? Not that I am madly into trends, per se but it would be good to know what styles and cuts are making an appearance!

I love fashion but most of all I love setting trends.  As far as what to wear for summer, I would go with the boy cargo shorts and a colorful tanktop or t-shirt. They can even be dressed up if you were a babydoll shirt and some heels.  This is just one of the trends that I cam up with for fashion.  As for the cuts, I think light hair color and curls are the things to go for.  Natural hair is a must for the summer as well.  Just wash and go so there is no maintenance required, but make sure you add on the conditioner.  I hope these ideas were helpful. Hit me up anytime for more.

Definitely like your ideas for summer trends, Felicia! I have always been terrible about not including color in my wardrobe and I finally decided to get out of my black and white comfort zone and bought some really cute tanktops in vibrant greens, blues, and heather gray (okay, that last one isn't very colorful but it's not black or white!). I have also included some cute baby tees in pastels.

I know some people are picky in the fashion industry and what I want to know is: are pastels more in trend now than brighter colors or are they both okay to wear for the summer?

Oh, and Rowena, I do have one thing to add to the summer trends fashion list! I read that summer dresses in Safari prints are really hot right now. I believe the best ones come in the flowy, light materials. I've seen a few of them in the fashion magazines and they actually look really cool and not gaudy like safari prints of the past.

I loveeeeee safari prints so I will be on the hunt.  I am super low maintence though - I am looing for shoes that are very comfy for the summer with a bit of a heel too!

Natural hair sounds goo to me!
