So I'm in the search for an agency and I forgot how difficult it can be sometimes. I would really love to get an agent in Los Angeles but since I am 4-5 hours away, I know that's not always realistic, although I know of models that have an agent in LA and one in the SF area so I'm hopeful that I can get a similar arrangement. Right now I have extensions glued in so I am waiting until I get them removed before going to open castings since I figure they will want to see my natural hair like in my photos but I'm wondering if it will really make a difference? We'll see!

Anyone else on the agency hunt right now? How is it working out for you?

I'd add to this and say that girls should approach local modelling agencies where possible -  but do look nationwide.  In the UK, major agencies are in London and if you were to make it, you would have to move there.  The regional areas have smaller agencies with less work, but they are a good starting point.
