I couldn't wait for summer to come around because I knew that a lot of people would be hiring models for various projects and so far I've been keeping pretty busy, which has been cool. Although I do notice that sometimes the Fall season is pretty good, too, when it comes to finding modeling work. I dread Winter or the other colder times of the year because for some reason it always seems that modeling gigs doing hiring at that time require models to act like it's super warm and hot out when it's really freezing. I think if it's a summertime shoot, it should take place in the summer. But that's just me. =)

One photographer was telling me about a shoot done in December in an orchard for a catalog shooting their summer line of clothes and it was so frigid that the models had towels and jackets hidden on the floor of the orchard so they could warm up in between shoots.

Ugh, sometimes modeling is not glamorous at all! What are your favorite seasons to do modeling work?

As a photographer, I apoligize for the winter shoots!

I do feel for the models sometimes, especially when clients want the juxtaposition of something that looks quite sheer/light but shot outside in the snow or rain.  But you have to be a trooper if you are going to be a model - there's no other way round it I'm afraid!
