Makeup artists, have you ever had to deal with models with acne? If so, how are you able to get around it? Is layering on concealer and foundation really ever enough or do you basically do what you can and leave it up to the photographer to retouch?

What skin types do you find are the most difficult to work with when applying makeup?

Well if its me, concealer is used but not so much that it looks cakey - then remaining blemishes are photoshopped out.

In a lot of cases, you just cant leave acne on a photo - people don't like it!  Its very easy to remove in Photoshop though so if you are a model with spots, don't worry!
