This Wednesday I'm supposed to be doing my first boudoir shoot. I'm organizing it myself and am doing it for my portfolio and because I need such images to submit to lingerie related gigs. However, I am not doing any implied nudity or anything like that. I got a hotel room and will be shooting in the bathroom area, in front of the mirror. I plan on wearing a bra and panty set and thigh high black stockings. It should be fun. The poses are going to be pretty simple and I want the images to tell a story. I plan on having the images mostly in black and white but will have some color images as well. The makeup will be like old Hollywood glamour from the 1940s and 1950s. I'll be sure to post them on my Modelfolios page when I get the images back. =)

So I did my first boudoir photoshoot yesterday and I had a great time! I planned the shoot myself and got a wonderful photographer and one of my friends from my high school days served as my makeup artist. She works for MAC and is in need of pictures to create her portfolio so we helped each other out in that respect. It was just the three of us, all female, so that made things a lot more comfortable since I've never shot in my underwear before. I got a hotel room and we decorated the bathroom area a bit to make the background more interesting.

I made a special CD of songs that got me in the sexy mood lol. Robin Thicke, Sade, Bryan Adams, and some of Michael Jackson's slower songs. "Liberian Girl" was one of my favorites and we even put it on repeat! I got a sneak peek of the images and they came out amazing! I'll be sure to post one or two of them on my Modelfolios profile soon!

I think boudoir style images look gorgeous I really do, with some dark lightining and the right accessories!  Was it comfortable for you all?
