    Hi Everyone

I was out at a shoot today and was working with a fantastic make up artist named Reece Mathers. He did some gorgeous work for a swim wear range and I asked him how he got the models skin to look so translucent and glowing. He told me to try applying powder blush with an oh-so-slightly damp brush. With a similar effect to cream (only minus the messy fingers and slide factor), this gives the apples of the cheeks a natural, translucent color, as though the blush is radiating from within the skin. Its even prettier than the real thing!

Anyone else have some great make up tips?

    Hey April,

I'm not a makeup artist or a photographer, I rarely wear makeup outside of liner and mascara. I definitely am looking to spruce up my makeup routine. The only thing I can say in the way of tips, that I've learned, is holding my skin taut and applying liner line by line. It's helped me immensely in applying steadily and neatly. I can't wait for more tips to come in.

My tip is to always tightline!  Basically using eyeliner, cream or pencil apply it to the inner lash line, by lifting up the eyelid and applying it at the base of the lashes.  It takes some getting used to then its wonderful!

It gives the illusion of thicker lashes and a really natural look.
