    A friend of mine was asking me for tips on taking headshots for her online profiles and to send to potential agents - I had a good think and I came up with this;

    1. Choose a simple, uncluttered background

    2 Make sure you have enough light, natural window light is the best

    3. If you can use a tripod, position it and test - you can take a better shot if you are hands free.  Get the framing right and learn to use the self timer.

    4. Practise posing!  If no one else else is watching, you can really play and try to get the right shot!

    Does anyone else have any tips?
