    Hey ladies

Maybe this is an question that gets asked a lot but what do people prefer? Lipstick or Lipgloss?

I used to be 100% lipgloss as my lips are naturally dry.  However, I've really started to wear lipsticks again - I love the pigmentation and the satiny finish.  It also lasts much longer than gloss which needs a lot of reapplication.

    Thoughts?~

I use ligloss alot, I just added the new two stage lipgloss from max factor.  Its really good for models.  I also use the smashbox lip palette its ideally suited to dryer lips, the colours are glossy and sit well on the skin.

For photoshoot purposes, I like the way lip gloss appears on camera, but I hate the way it makes my lips feel all sticky and if I press my lips together, I completely ruin the look! lol. Of course since I have naturally full lips, I don't necessarily need lip gloss since it can also make my lips appear too large.

Lately, I have been favoring using a lip brush to apply my regular lipstick and I tend to like the more natural, matte look better. Sometimes lip gloss can make me look too overdone.

So in a sense, I guess I prefer lipstick at this point in time. Although I religiously wear clear lip balm to combat against dry and chapped lips. =)

The older I'm getting, the more I'm preferring lipstick. I don't know why, I just find myself associating gloss with youth and lipsticks for more mature feeling. If I'm out clubbing or whatever I will use gloss but you know for business meetings, lipstick, of course.

I have found myself liking lipstick more too - maybe because it just lasts longer and gives an elegant lip although its always easy to slap on some lipgloss!
