I am planning my holidays for next year to Asia - Hong Kong and Japan.  I am especially excited about taking candids in Japan - luckily it is a culture that is comfortable with people just whacking a camera out so I won't feel silly!

Has anyone else seen Fruits? It is a publication in Japan that takes candids of eccentrically dressed people in a region called Harajuku.

Google it! These are normal members of the public and they look incredible!

I love the Japanese dress sense, if I could go anywhere to take photos it would be there or India. I'm so jealous.

Good luck! Would love to see any shots that you do. I'm planning to go to Amsterdam sometime soon to take some photographs.

What are you looking to photograph in Amsterdam?

Travelling definately opens up the creativity.  Japan is quite special in that there are some great people and fashion shots to take too!

I'll def get the photos up when I finally go!
