As someone who takes photographs professionally and personally, I am always running out of storage space.  With imaging becoming all digital, it means I have to find virtual space and even then it is precarius.  Computers can be stolen, can break, cds can become corrupt, hard drives can also become damaged.

I joined flickr recently and paid $25.99 for a years subscription, unlimited uploads.  Its a great way for me to store my images online!  The benefit is that I can access my images anywhere and they feel 'safe' -  I am sure that Flickr have great precautions to protect the millions of images they house.

I agree with all of the above, I store my pictures all over the place but I also use www.ritzpix.com (Ritz/Wolf Camera) at no cost, I still make back up discs just because I feel better...it takes overnight usually to upload so many at full original size but well worth it to have a back up of everything!

Hey there!  Nice to talk to another photographer!  I completely agree.  My MAC recently (nearly) died a death and I didn't know what to do!  So on one hand I have my images on Flickr, but also like you backed up onto CD, but I've already experienced CD's getting lost so I have a Harddrive with a terabite of memory.  I have noticed some companies offer full PC/MAC back up too for a small fee each month so I might even consider that!
