I'm curious to know what photoshoots have been your favorite in the course of your photography career and what was it about that shoot that made it memorable? I think it's fun to look back and reflect on past experiences and I usually hear about it from the model's perspective so I thought I'd pick a couple of the photographers' brains on here and ask you to share!

My favourite photoshoot was with a bunch of girls - they were part of a language group and were not trained models so I had to coax these 12 girls into feeling comfortable with me even though we had no way to communicate!  We used ribbons and balloons, had a lot of fun with it all and it was enjoyed by all.

Aw, that sounds like it was a playful shoot! If anything, playing with balloons and ribbons is a great way to allow the models to experiment with poses and just have fun! How did the photos turn out? Since they weren't models, was it like an advertising type of shoot for their language group or something? Do I'm assuming they didn't speak English...were were they from and how old?

They were a group of kids from China, they were about 15-18 I think.  The photos...I have about if I have time I'll upload them!  This was a way for the kids to gain some confidence but to also produce a photoshoot for the magazine which deals with fashion and lifestyle but also cultural issues.
