While the exact age that most girls stop growing tends to vary, most usually believe it stops around age 18 or 1-2 years after a girl has started menstruating. Well, whichever answer is true, I was very surprised to believe that at 26-years-old, I have recently grown a full inch! I am now 5'5" instead of 5'4" LOL. While most people wouldn't see that as very significant, in modeling terms, that is big for me because I now officially meet the minimum height requirement for commercial/print modeling. Of course being 5'5" in the modeling industry still makes me a shorty and pretty much no better off in terms of trying to reach the runway (but that's not my goal anyway). I'm just happy that I don't have to fudge my height anymore or worry about a client or agency discriminating because I lack that one inch.
How on Earth I managed to grow while in my mid to 20s is beyond me but I can't say that I'm complaining about it! haha.
