I find it amazing that each time I post a profile on an online modeling community, I get a message or email from someone describing their need for models and in the end it turns out they are running an escort service and are recruiting girls. Ugh, what a nuisance! And it's crazy how they'll use fancy wordplay to make it seem like this is something that doesn't involve any sex or funny stuff! Yeah, right!

Isn't that kind of stuff illegal? I've been asked to join an escort service on three different occasions now and I've gotta say, it's getting a little annoying, especially when I'm hoping to network with legitimate clients and agencies.

You read my mind!  Read the other posts I responded to!!!!!!! It is incredible how sexual things can get on the internet.  I had a profile for photography up once - and the amount of stupid propsitions I got was ridiculous.  It was the same on my Facebook account (one of the reasons I shut it down permanently today!).

Oh my gosh, you got propositioned on your Facebook?! That's ridiculous! Oh, man, it seems these pervy people are bringing their presence into just about every site these days! That's terrible! I have yet to encounter an escort service or other related entity on Facebook, thank goodness. It must have been pretty bad if it caused you to have to shut down your account, wow! Do you plan on making another Facebook profile or are you just not even going to bother?

    Hey Dania

Well...I have always hated facebook so I am happy to be off it!  I wanted it to be purely a professional networking tool but naturally before you know it, everyone you have every known starts to add you and you feel rude for not adding them - suddenly everyone knows your business! A friend of mine recently got into a lot of trouble for saying her job was "boring" on facebook - her bosses saw! I am too much of a private person I think to let everyone know my business!
