Are there any models out there that have skin conditions or issues? I have eczema, which has been a challenge for me but for the most part I do my best to not let it get me down. I take great care of my skin and most people aren't even aware that I have eczema but breakouts and flareups often keep me from submitting or accepting work until I've treated the area in question and it is back to normal. Because of my eczema, my skin scars easily so one little pimple on my back or shoulder can easily turn into a scab and then a scar. Ugh. I hate it!
To top it off I have stretch marks on my backside, which I am extremely self conscious about. Most photographers don't have a problem with it but I do feel like I shouldn't submit to certain things (certain swimsuit, lingerie) because i figure they wouldn't pick me because of it.
Oh, well, no one's perfect and besides, that's what Photoshop is for, right?
